Robin Hood Production Cel
Check out the original production cels for sale in our animation art gallery from Walt Disney's 1973 film, Robin Hood. For Disney's 21st animated feature film, animators brought the legend of Robin Hood and his mission to help the poor to life with anthropomorphic animals and feisty ballads. Our Robin Hood animation collection includes a number of rare production set ups. Highlights include: a production cel of Robin Hood in disguise on an original hand- painted production background picturing Prince John's caravan at the edge of Sherwood Forest. This set up was used to create the scene in which Robin Hood and Little John flee with bags of gold after successfully swindling Prince John aka "the phony king of England." This animation set-up measures approximately 20" x 18" framed; it is in great condition and is framed beautifully with a double mat and a sleek black frame. Looking for a gift? This original production cel of Sir Hiss is sure to be a hit! Sir Hiss (aka "Buster", "long one", "silly serpent", "cowardly cobra", "procrastinating python", "aggravating asp", "eel in snake's clothing" and other names courtesy of Little John and "P. J.") looks regal in this original production cel on a laser background.
