Original Walt Disney Production Cels on Master Production Background from Peter Pan

This incredibly rare production cel set up on master production background is from Walt Disney's Peter Pan (1953), and features both Peter Pan and Tinkerbell. The cel of Peter appears at the beginning of the movie, in the Darling children's bedroom; in the scene, Peter scratches his head because he can't figure out girls-- like Wendy.  The background appears later in the movie, with the darling children marching through the Lost Boys hideout.  On Peter's knee is the cel of Tinkerbell.  The Disney Art Props Department-- the studio department in charge of putting together these cel setups after completion of a film-- has enhanced the scene for presentation by painting pixie dust over Peter, Tink, and the background. Tinker Bell's wings have been likewise added by hand by a Disney Art Props Department artist. The cels of Peter and Tink have been trimmed to the outline of the figures as was customary when the Disney Studio prepared these cel setups for display.  The cel is in the original Disney Studio mat, which has the original Walt Disney stamp of authenticity. This is an amazing piece of animation history, and would make a great addition to any collection! 22" x 20" framed. SOLD
