Additional Details: Produced in 1954 and directed by Chuck Jones, this image depicts Wile E. Coyote as he holds up a sign in a last-ditch effort to thwart off a head-on collision with a freight train. Whether employing high or low tech methods, the pathos Wile E. experiences as he pursues the Road Runner through the Desert Southwest, in guaranteed. Taken directly from the Chuck Jones 1954 cartoon, "Stop! Look! And Hasten!," this is a hand-painted cel in an exclusive limited edition of only twenty. The drawing, taken from the original animation, was crafted by Animation Director, Darrell Van Citters. The master inking was made by Laurie Dindis, which was then silk-screened onto an acetate sheet (or "cel") along with the Clampett Studio Collections seal of authenticity. Each cel was then expertly hand-painted on the reverse side in the classic animation style. The original background was meticulously rendered by artist Hector Martinez and reproduced utilizing a fine art giclee process. As a final step, each cel is hand numbered to an ultimate edition size of 20.
